TMB has been made aware of individuals who are impersonating TMB employees, and interviewing applicants
for open positions via chat on a messaging application.
Offer letters are sent by these individuals on TMB letterhead, along with a check for
"equipment purchases." The checks are counterfeit, and feature the name of a real company—although not
Trusted Media Brands. Do not cash the check, wire/transfer funds, or provide personal information.
Trusted Media Brands will never contact prospective job applicants from a personal email
account (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.), conduct job interviews via chat or a messenger application, or
send job applicants a check asking them to purchase their own computer or equipment. We always interview
potential candidates via video/in person before an offer is made. We will never ask for financial
information prior to the actual start of employment. All of the above job postings on our website are
safe and legitimate.
